Welcome to my portfolio. I design amazing user experiences. However, I know that great designs don't matter unless they are realized in great products. So I don't start or stop with the pretty pictures. I have 3 main goals:

    Embody application requirements

    I work with product managers and developers to refine and clarify requirements before design and development begin. I iterate early on task flows and wireframes to reduce more expensive iterations in detail design and UI development. The final design becomes the detailed specification that ensures all the downstream development and test teams are on the same page about what I must deliver.

    Design great user experiences

    I follow a rigorous, iterative process to design the best possible user experience for our task-focused applications. I maintain and use a comprehensive style guide and design system with reusable components to achieve consistency and brand compliance across our product line. I deliver pixel-perfect UI visuals and assets to developers.

    Enable fast, high-quality UI development

    I and my team maintained a code library for all our UI components, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript as both Angular and React components. The library includes low level "atoms" such as buttons and form fields, as well as larger parameterized "molecules", such as tables, navigation panels, and charts.

    A collaborative CAD tool for designing site plans for video analytics based solutions, such as parking and intersection monitoring. Site planners annotate maps with physical features, configure camera placement and settings, and run reports to estimate coverage and accuracy for different scenarios.

  • The TPD Design System for Enterprise Applications

    The design system is an extensive library of reusable smart components. We began with a foundation of Verizon brand standards and expanded it with design elements we need for our complex, task and data visualization-based applications. The design system enables us to design faster, with consistency among designers and across the product line.
